Born and raised in Toronto, Gloria, also known as G.L. Glowz, is a spoken word artist. Gloria started her passion in creative writing since grade 3 — from writing novels and short stories to songwriting. In 2012, she decided to explore the craft of spoken word, where she was inspired to be a voice for the voiceless, by sharing her personal experience and other people’s stories (with their given consent and approval). Gloria also loves incorporating melodic hooks from songs in her work.
